On Friday, August 7, the Ministry of Justice submitted a draft report to the Cabinet of Ministers for consideration, which envisages the establishment of a working group to address issues related to the state's judicial security.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Justice Jānis Bordāns: "As a Minister, I have identified the need to improve certain institutional aspects. I call on my government colleagues to be aware of this and to take concrete practical steps to address this issue: to set up a relevant working group or council. "
The Ministry of Justice invites to consider this issue in the closed part of the sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers. Given that the issue under consideration concerns national security, its status is currently classified.
