The following officers of the Ministry of Justice will accept visitors according to their respective competencies: the Minister, the State Secretary, the Deputy State Secretary on Legal Policy Issues, Deputy State Secretary on Foreign Cooperation and Strategy Issues, Director of the Legal Department and the designated officials of the Ministry. 

Minutes shall be taken of the visit. 

The visitor’s application for admission shall be recorded by the Office. 

An application for admission may also be made verbally (including by telephone: 67036825; 67036716, 67036720 or 67036721), providing details about the visitor and the issue being addressed. 

The Deputy State Secretary and the Director of the Legal Department or their designated officials shall receive visitors on the last Thursday of each month, from 15.00 to 17.00, in accordance with the previously established timetable . 

If the last Thursday of the month is the day before a public holiday, visitors shall be accepted from 14.00 to 16.00. If the last Thursday of a month is a public holiday, visitors shall be accepted on the working day preceding the public holiday. 

Each visitor is personally informed of the specific reception time.

Upon arrival at the Brīvības 36 checkpoint, you must present your identification document - passport or identification card and pass a security check.
